Denver-area Easter egg hunts happening in 2024

Easter is earlier than normal this year, happening on March 31st, so Easter egg hunts are naturally earlier too. Some start as early as this weekend around Denver. 

Here’s a list of some of the Easter egg hunts we’ve found across the Denver-area in 2024:

Arvada

Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday, March 31 – Fellowship Covenant Church at 9:45 a.m.

Easter Egg Hunt by House2Home Real Estate: Saturday, March 30 – Thousands of eggs will be hidden for the hunt at Robby Ferrufino Park at 10:30 a.m. There be be photos with the Easter Bunny, pastries and refreshments.

Harbor Church Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – The Easter egg hunt will be at Harbor Church Arvada Campus at 10 a.m. with bounce houses, food truck, hot drinks, photos with the Easter Bunny and giveaways.

Sunrise Park Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Photos with the Easter Bunny, snacks, drinks and Easter egg hunt at Arvada’s Sunrise Park.

Easter Bunny Bash: Saturday, March 30 – Kids can start with an Apex Parks and Rec District Easter egg hunt, then they can explore the Simms Street Recreation Center for crafts, photo opportunities, and play in the gymnastics gym.

Aurora

Community Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Tower Community Fellowship will host an egg hunt plus carnival games, hot dogs and chips, and bounce houses.

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Church at the Creek’s annual Easter egg hunt starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Vista Peak Exploratory on the playground with over 2,500 eggs.

Gaylord Rockies Spring Celebration: Saturdays and Sundays, March 22-30 – Spring at  is in full bloom at Gaylord Rockies with the launch of springtime activities, including Easter egg hunts, to complement a 720-foot-long lazy river opening for the season.

Boulder

Calvary Bible Church: Saturday, March 30  All are welcome at Calvary Bible Church’s Easter egg hunt, which takes place between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., with snacks, games and special prizes.

Brighton 

Brighton Egg Splash: Sunday, March 24 – The Easter Bunny has hidden hundreds of eggs in the pool at the Brighton Recreation Center. Fill your basket with eggs and exchange them for a goodie bag.

Centennial

FIA Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday, March 24 – Foxridge Improvement Association is hosting a community egg hunt at the community garden.

Denver

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – University Church of Christ will hold a Easter egg hunt with food, music, games and more.

Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday, March 31 – The Church in South Denver will hold an egg hunt after Easter service at 2288 S. Tennyson St.

Four Mile Historic Park Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Check in with the animals before the egg scramble for more than 30,000 eggs at Four Mile Historic Park.

Regis University Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Regis University’s Boettcher Commons will be filled with colored eggs at 12 p.m.

Renewal Church Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday, March 31 – The Easter egg hunt at Renewal Church is at 3120 Irving St. after the service.

University Park United Methodist Church: Saturday, March 30 – University Park United Methodist Church will hold an Easter program of music and the Easter Story at 11 a.m. before an 11:30 a.m. egg hunt.

Wash Park Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Egg hunting, coffee and donuts at 10 a.m.

Erie

Calvary Bible Church Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Calvary Bible Church is hosting an egg hunt at its three campuses including Erie with snacks, games and prizes.

Community Easter Egg Hunt: Sunday, March 24 – Erie United Methodist Church hosts two separate community Easter egg hunts for different age groups.

Evergreen

MOPS Hop Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – The annual MOPS Hop event, with Easter egg hunt, brunch and fun activities, will begin at 10 a.m. at Aspen Ridge Church.

Glendale

Infinity Park Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – This free egg hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp on Infinity Park Field.

Golden

Prospect Rec & Park Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Prospect Recreation & Park District’s Easter egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. sharp at Maple Grove Park.

Greenwood Village

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 23 – Hope United Methodist Church is hosting an egg hunt for kids 5th grade and younger. A light brunch will be served at 9:30 a.m.

Henderson

Mile High Flea Market: Saturday, March 23 – Mile High Flea Market’s Easter Eggstravaganza from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. has photos with the Easter Bunny, candy, face painting, vendors and rides.

Highlands Ranch

Highlands Ranch Community Association Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – The community is invited to Northridge Park for an Easter egg hunt set for 10 a.m. sharp, followed by an appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Lakewood

Bethlehem Lutheran Church and School Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – There will be hunting for 10,000 eggs in three age groups.

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30: Westwoods Community Church will hold an Easter celebration at 10 a.m. at Lakewood Park with an egg hunt at 11:10 a.m.

Littleton

Littleton Church of Christ Spring Festival: Saturday, March 30 – Egg hunt, Easter crafts, games, bounce houses, face painting, pictures with the Easter Bunny.

South Sub Church: Saturday, March 23 – The Easter Egg Hunt begins at 10 a.m. with eggs, candy, face painting, balloon artist and more.

Valley View Christian Church Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Valley View Christian Church will hold an egg hunt following its 4 p.m. service.

Zuma’s Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Join your local equine sanctuary for a family day celebrating Easter with a egg hunt, hay ride and food.

Louisville

Community Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 23 – 7th Generation Farms has an egg hunt at 12 p.m. sharp with farm animals, children’s activities, prizes and Easter Bunny photos.

Morrison

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Easter eggs will be hidden at Morrison Mercantile at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Northglenn

Northglenn United Methodist Church: Sunday, March 31 – Church families, neighborhood families and friends are welcome to attend the age-appropriate Easter egg hunt following the 10 a.m. Easter Sunday traditional worship service.

Crossroads Community Center Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 23 – Crossroads Community Center will host two egg hunts, 9 a.m. in English and 11 a.m. in English and Spanish.

Thornton 

Calvary Bible Church Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – Calvary Bible Church will have its Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with snacks, games and prizes.

Eggcessible Eggstravaganza: Saturday, March 30 – This is a traditional egg scramble collecting eggs and candy, that features an adaptive and inclusive egg hunt and Nerf Dart arena to include families and youth with diverse needs and abilities at Thornton’s Community Park.

Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 30 – The 4th annual Easter egg hunt at CrossFit MOB in Thornton will start at 12 p.m. and the egg hunt will start at 1 p.m. The Easter Bunny will be there to take photos.

Lewis Pointe Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 23 – The annual egg hunt at Lewis Point Park begins at 9:30 a.m. doughnuts, coffee, and photos with the Easter Bunny.

Wheat Ridge

Easter Eggstravaganza: Saturday, March 30 – Applewood Baptist Church hosts an Easter Saturday of family fun with a pancake breakfast, egg hunts, games, giveaways and magic show.

Egg-Stra Special Easter Egg Hunt: Saturday, March 23 – Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation is holding an egg hunt with 7,000 prize-filled eggs, music, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, games, activities and an appearance by the Easter Bunny.

Timberline Windsor Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt: Saturday, March 23  Timberline Windsor’s Easter egg hunt will be a scavenger hunt and there will also be food trucks and live music from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
