The Old Farmer’s Almanac claims an overall accuracy of about 80 percent, but that could be because they often keep their forecasts pretty vague. That is once again the case as they predict what summer will be like in Colorado later this year…

The Almanac says that summer 2024 will be “warm” and “seasonally stormy” in the area of Colorado. In other words, they’re calling for this summer to be pretty average.

The Almanac further elaborates that weather in the North Central region, which includes Colorado, will bring a “seesaw of summer temperatures with an overall warm season, but with occasional cold Canadian air blowing in.”

For comparison, the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center issued a seasonal outlook for June, July and August that calls for likely above-average temperatures and the possibility of lower precipitation than normal in Colorado.
