DIA to begin offering guaranteed reserved parking

Denver International Airport has begun offering premium reserve parking to their parking options.  

Travelers visiting DIA have previously been at the mercy of parking being available, but now they can have a guaranteed reserved spot which can be booked up to 90 days in advance.

Currently pricing for DIA’s economy lots are $18 a day ($6 an hour) and their parking garage spots are $30 a day ($7 an hour.)  The new Premium reservation only parking will be $50.  

The new premium spots on the 4th level of the Arrivals garage which the website notes provides a “convenient, covered walk to check-in.” and guarantees a spot even if the the garage is full.

The Gazette notes that the new premium parking option will use new license plate technology that will detect the travelers plate entering and exiting the airport.
