ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, COLORADO – 13: The 14,259-foot fourteener Longs Peak is covered in snow on May 13, 2023 in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. The 2023 winter snowpack around Rocky Mountain National Park was above the normal average. Many hope that the snowmelt the that travels west of the Continental Divide fro that region can bring some relief to the historic drought in the Colorado River Basin.
