Even after the Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia basically said it was his fault that Nikola Jokic was even involved in the confrontation the two had during game four of the Suns and Denver Nuggets Playoff series, the Nuggets star will still get a ding to his wallet…

The good news for Nuggets fans though is that Jokic will not be suspended.

In his postgame press conference, Jokic suggested Ishbia should’ve been ejected for his actions. The Suns owner tweeted on Monday morning he didn’t think Jokic should be suspended.

However as I mentioned, Jokic won’t get out of the incident without any repercussions, as the league is fining him $25,000. But for a guy playing on a maximum contract, that’s honestly chump change.

I still don’t understand why there’s no discipline being handed to the other guy in the tango, but what do I know. At least we’ll have our star for game five tomorrow night.
