The KYGO Pet of the Week: Wally

By Austin Satkowiak on October 20, 2021

Meet Mr. Wally! Wally is a 7-year-old Chihuahua mix who was transferred to MaxFund from New Mexico. Wally was formerly in an altercation with a large dog resulting in a broken jaw but is completely healed and doing well!

Wally can be timid at first but turns into quite the lover once he feels comfortable. We have found that Wally nuzzles his way into blankets when he is feeling anxious or overwhelmed, so get ready to bring out some extra blankets! Once you steal his heart, he will consistently ask for nose kisses and cuddle up in your lap.

Wally is a big lover of walks and enjoys his time outside. He gets along well and plays with like-sized dogs, but any potential fur sibling will need to meet him prior to adopting. Wally will do best in a home with older or no children due to his shy personality. If you would like to meet Wally, call MaxFund Dog Shelter at 303-595-4917.
