The KYGO Pet of the Week: Hickory

Howdy Friends! My name is Hickory and I am a Hound Lab Mix. I was brought to MaxFund as a stray and started off a little timid. With patience from my pawsome kennel staff and volunteers, I’ve gotten a lot better.

My friends at MaxFund say that I am really sweet and love people, I am the definition of man’s best friend! My kennel staff thinks I would do better in a home with older children around 10 and I would need to be the only dog in the household. I am a very smart boy and would love to go to a family who would continue my training. I am very observant so I learn fast. Since I am a bigger guy, I am considered a strong walker. I will benefit from additional leash training so I can officially master that skill. I am ready for all my future adventures with my new furrever family!
