The KYGO Pet of the Week: Buddha

What’s Crackalackin? My name is Buddha and I am a gorgeous english bulldog. I am about 8 years old but far from old. I was relinquished because my family could no longer afford to keep me. I’ve made great friends while being here and all of them say I am a hoot to be around!

Although I am a little older, my personality doesn’t show it. I am super goofy and fun loving. I make a lot of my pawsome volunteers smile. I am a very sweet boy and will hop on the chair to cuddle when I am feeling super lovey. I have a lot of energy and love walks!

I am a well-mannered boy on my walks and won’t ever pull once we get out the door, although I may rush you out the door! Who isn’t excited to go on a walk? I do love other doggos and I tend to play more with them than I do toys, however, I will need to meet any potential fur siblings.  Little people make me nervous so I really would need to be in a family with kids over 15. I do tear up beading in my room so please no bedding! I am a smart boy and I have even learned to sit!

I recently went home with a couple but was returned because it wasn’t a good fit.  I started showing some resource guarding behavior with some of my stuff in their house.  When I do go home with my furever family, I will need boundaries and guidelines set immediately.  I can be a good boy, I just need to be shown what to do.   I would benefit from some additional behavioral training just so I can be my best canine self.
