The KYGO Pet of the Week: Elmer

Shhh, be vewy vewy quiet. I’m hunting wabbits! The name’s Elmer, not to be confused with Elmer Fudd! I’m an adorable 6-year-old, brown and white chihuahua mix weighing 14 lbs. I came to MaxFund all the way from a shelter in Texas. It was a long journey for me to make it to Colorado, so when I came to the shelter I was a little shy.
I am a cautious boy at first, but I have really started to show my lovable personality. I love people and very much enjoy walks with them! I am energetic but a very mellow fellow who is super easygoing. I can be shy around other dogs so make sure if you have other dogs, to bring in your fur baby to meet me and see if we can be best buds.
I am a very sweet boy; I am definitely a larger than life chihuahua. My long legs set me apart from others of my breed, and give me a great view at outdoor concerts.
I am still working on my training with housebreaking but I am smart and getting better everyday! I would love a forever home with someone who is patient with me while I work on my training and wants to live a comfortable and chill life with me. I love a soft lap to relax in. Could you be that forever lap?
