Taylor Swift turned in a surprise performance on Monday for her oldest fan — a 96-year-old World War 2 vet.
Taylor showed up at the New Madrid, Missouri home of Cyrus Porter on Monday with guitar in hand. She then launched into an acoustic rendition of “Shake It Off” for Cyrus and the other folks with him.
It wasn’t Cyrus’s first Taylor Swift show — he’s been to multiple concerts, even driving hundreds of miles to see her. And though he has cancer, he has vowed to be in the crowd during her next tour.
Taylor always taking the time to go above and beyond for her fans – fans of all ages! So glad she met 96 year old veteran Cyrus Porter 💝 pic.twitter.com/yAt0YslWaL
