As you probably know, taxes are not due today… not Federal nor your Colorado state taxes, thanks to the coronavirus disruption.

Here’s a look at when they are actually due.

The Federal income tax due date has been pushed to July 15th, 2020.

Governor Jared Polis extended the tax payment deadline for all Colorado taxpayers, as well, to July 15th, 2020.

Tax returns that were required to be filed by April 15th, 2020 are granted an automatic six-month extension due on or before October 15th, 2020.

Further, the deadline for estimated payments has been extended and penalties waived  for estimated payments until July 15th.
