Scotty McCreery Reflects On The Best Year Of His Life

25-year-old Scotty McCreery says that 2 years ago he was questioning a lot of things and looking for advice about his career. He said, “There was a light at the end of the tunnel, but that light felt really far away. It was a long a$$ tunnel, that’s for sure.”
He told People.com: “I could either mope and pout or I could pick myself up by the bootstraps and keep marching on.” Since then he achieved his first #1 single with “Five More Minutes” and celebrated a #1 album.
He says that 2018 has been the greatest year of his life, especially because of his personal life. Earlier this year he married Gabi Dugal and said this about her: “She’s incredible and we make a great team, and to be able to go through life together is one of my biggest joys.
