Since Sam Hunt burst on the scene a few years ago, there have been people who have said that his music is too pop. Well, he agrees with them.
In a recent interview, Hunt said, “My music has been influenced by pop culture.” He added that, “I’ve used my pop culture foresight to create a sound that I thought would be effective in today’s times. I think as I continue to write songs, I may lean on country roots a little more than where the culture is going, musically.”
