Rascal Flatts opened their Las Vegas residency at the Venetian last Friday night.

In light of the tragic massacre during the Route 91 Harvest Festival, the guys considered postponing their residency, but decided to go through with it as planned. Joe Don Rooney says, “But we quickly came to the conclusion that, no matter what, we’re not going to let evil win.” At the start of the show, the band honored those who lost their lives during the shootings.

Their next show at the Venetian is Wednesday night.

Check out their latest song, “Back to Us.”
