If you’ve browsed any real estate sites lately, you know just how high home prices are. Of course, those amounts vary greatly, depending on location and a new report reveals where the priciest real estate markets in the country are found, and one is in Colorado…
“Architectural Digest” teamed up with Zillow for the research, analyzing data from the Zillow Home Value Index to determine the typical home value now and over time.
After crunching the numbers, they’ve found that California’s 94027 is the most expensive zip code in the country.
91656, which is Woody Creek, CO is number ten on the list. Woody Creek is essentially a suburb of Aspen, so it makes sense.
The Top 10 Most Expensive Zip Codes in the U.S.
- 94027 – Atherton, California – Located in San Mateo County in the Bay area, the typical home value in this zip code is $7,400,900.
- 90210 – Beverly Hills, California – One of the most recognizable zip codes in the country, it’s home to Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills Hotel and other famous attractions. A typical home value in Beverly Hills is $5,243,140.
- 33109 – Miami Beach, Florida – Fisher Island, a private enclave accessible only by ferry, takes up most of this zip code, where celebs like Oprah and Mel Brooks reportedly have owned homes. The typical home value here is $5,675,294.
- 11962 – Sagaponack, New York – This zip code is in the town of Southampton and homes here are typically valued around $5,168,916.
- 93108 – Montecito, California – Known as a celebrity enclave, the town is home to stars including Gwyneth Paltrow and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the typical home value is $4,503,435.
- 94022 – Los Altos, California – In this town in Santa Clara County, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area, the typical home value is $4,495,775.
