Elle King ends her sabbatical, details for 2024 ACM Awards have been announced | Music City Minute

About a month and a half ago, Miss Elle King stepped out of the spotlight after that really embarrassing performance at the Opry Goes Dolly. But she’s reemerged from her short sabbatical to start performing again. Last weekend, she hit the stage as part of the Extra Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. She shared a carousel of photos featuring pics of her performing, meeting Kyle Richards and a cute snap of her and her dad, Rob Schneider. The X’s & Oh’s singer looks like she is doing a lot better. Hopefully she learned something from that January performance and will only be remembered as a small, odd footnote in professional career.
Details about the 2024 ACM Awards have been announced. First and foremost, the 59th annual country music award show will air exclusively on Amazon Prime. There are also some subtle rule changes that will hopefully help revive categories like Best New Duo or Group of the year – which has been dormant since Lanco’s 2018 win. No hosts have been announced just yet. The ceremony will take place at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas, on May 16th.
