Miranda Lambert back on stage this year
Some exciting news coming out of the state of Texas! Miranda Lambert will be back on-stage headlining concerts for the first time in over a year. Welcome back home Ms. Lambert! The Texas native will be showcasing her latest album, Wildcard, for three shows, at the 40th anniversary of Billy Bob’s aka the “World’s largest honky-tonk in Fort Worth, on April 22 thru 24, 2021. Obviously, the shows will be reduced capacity and will follow strict COVID protocols. A step in the right direction none the less.
Dolly appears on Jimmy Fallon
Hello Dolly! Recently on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Miss Parton told a story about growing up in the smoky mountains and went on a date at 17 or 18 that went all sorts of wrong. “I dated a guy and he kicked me out of a car and made me walk home through a forest with bears and bobcats.” Fallon asked if the country icon came across the bears and bobcats?” “Absolutely,” Parton said she “heard them, felt them.” And went onto say that “It was a put out or get out situation, and that she did learn something that night,” she said. “if that ever happens to me again, I’m definitely giving it up. I would rather be chewed on by a boy than a bear.”
