Carly Pearce Wants to Throw it Back to the 80’s With These Ladies

Carly Pearce wants to get together and collaborate with Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini in hopes of recreating “Trio”. Just a quick reminder, “Trio” was a project that earned Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmylou Harris a Grammy way back in nineteen hundred and eighty-eight for best country duo/group performance. Now the question is, will this ever happen? Well in a recent interview Carly says that the girls have talked about either doing the whole trio record or at least a song from it… And went onto say that it’s been out there in the world and thinks they should do it. Here’s all of us putting it out there in the world in hopes of this happening.

Garth, McBryde Write Together

Talk about winning the country music lottery! Rising country star Ashley McBryde teamed up with the king of all things country, Mr. Garth Brooks, and Garth’s frequent writing partner Mitch Rossell, had a good ole fashioned writing session. Garth says he knew to let McBryde take the lead during the session and praised her by saying, “The truth is, Mitch and I just kind of sat and watched her. She’s an animal, man. She just tore it up.” Now the question remains will the song they wrote see the light of day? Garth says the song is “something country …stone country,” but is keeping mum on the content and who or whom might record it.
