Denver, CO – More people are moving to Colorado than many other states in the country.  In fact, according to new data that was just released from U-Haul, Colorado is in the top 10 destination states for moving.

Last year, Colorado ranked 9th for the most one way move into the state.  In 2022, Colorado was ranked 11th for one way moves.  What is the number one state for one way moves?  Texas.

Here’s a list from U-Haul of the top states people are moving into:

  1. Texas
  2. Florida
  3. North Carolina
  4. South Caroline
  5. Tennessee
  6. Idaho
  7. Washington
  8. Arizona
  9. Colorado
  10. Virginia

Interestingly enough, the majority of people moving to Colorado aren’t moving to Denver.  The number one city for moves is Ft. Collins.  Also, according to U-Haul, more people are moving to the mountains or cities outside of Denver.
