Joe Diffie Passes Away From Complications Of COVID-19

Grammy winner and country singer Joe Diffie passed away from complications related to COVID-19 today. He was 61. Diffie told fans on Friday, March 27th that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, when he posted this message on his Facebook:

Diffie was a successful artist, as well as, a songwriter – who wrote hits for artists like Tim McGraw, Jo Dee Messina, and Conway Twitty. He had over 20 top 10 hits credited to him.

His own catalog featured hit songs like Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox, John Deere Green, Pickup Man, and Third Rock from the Sun.
