Jason Aldean Forced To Cancel Performance

Country music fans saw an incredible performance in Kansas on Saturday (June 22) and it wasn’t Jason Aldean.

Severe weather pummeled fans waiting to see Jason Aldean perform at Country Stampede in Topeka, Kansas. At one point, lightning strikes right behind the stage – sending attendees fleeing for cover.

When it was clear that Mother Nature wasn’t going to let up, organizers canceled Aldean’s performance.

Jason Aldean apologized for the canceled performance in a video posted to Instagram.

Always hate having to deliver these messages but sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t leave us any options. Sorry for having to cancel the show at Country Stampede. We were here and ready to jam with u guys tonite. We can play in the rain, the lightning being so close is what got us. I apologize to you guys but hopefully we will see you soon. 🤙🏼
