Going to the 9News Parade of Lights in Downtown Denver – Here’s What You Need to Know

For the 49th time, Downtown Denver will host a parade to kickoff the holiday season. The 9News Parade of Lights is tomorrow night (Dec. 2nd). If you’re heaed downtown, here is what you need to know before you go…
The parade, which is free to attend, will feature over 40 floats, balloons, marching bands and equestrian units walking down multiple streets for over an hour. The marching will begin at the Denver City and County Building and head down Tremont Street, 17th Street, Arapahoe Street, 15th Street and Glenarm Street.
The parade kicks off at 6 p.m. Spectators can get the best seats by purchasing grandstand seating directly in front of the City and County Building. A limited number of grandstand tickets can be found on the Parade of Lights website.
