George Strait is closing down the San Antonio Rose Palace, a rodeo and “Western lifestyle events” venue that plays host to his annual George Strait Team Roping Classic in San Antonio, TX. Strait has owned the venue since 1998.
The facility’s manager, RP3 Management, made the announcement on Facebook writing in part, “We are told the property will be listed for sale and had to cancel all future shows for 2018 and beyond.” No reason for the closing was provided.
