It had a lot of different names through the years, from Fox Sports Rocky Mountain to Root Sports to most recently, AT&T Sportsnet, but whatever you call it, the channel that has broadcasted Colorado Rockies games over the last few decades, will no longer carry the games. There’s no word on a possible TV deal for the team, but today (Feb 14) a plan to broadcast the games online was reveled.

ROCKIES.TV will allow you to watch all the games with no blackout dates, except for the games televised nationally. People living in the Rockies home market, which includes all of Colorado and Wyoming plus portions of neighboring states, will be able to watch through the dedicated service.

For full access, the subscription costs $99.99 a year with no blackout dates, subject to national exclusivities. You can also choose to pay a $19.99 per monthly rate. Once you sign up, you can watch the games on the web, your mobile app or any connected device.

As for TV broadcasts, via a traditional cable channel, a Rockies spokesperson said that details regarding that plan will be announced in the future.
