Florida Georgia Line did a good thing Saturday!

Before hitting the FGL Fest stage at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the band honored IMPD and presented them with a new K9 pup.

Brian Kelly and his wife initially met the German Shepard pup last year. They named him “Sarge” and sent him to talented trainer Michael Sweeney. Not longer after, they all realized Sarge was special and would ultimately make a great K9 officer.

In a statement, Brian and Brittney Kelley said: “We are so excited that Sarge will live a life of keeping people and his officers safe. Being able to give back is something in our hearts and last night in Indianapolis was a moment we won’t forget.”

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department K9 Association have not confirmed a name for their newest officer. Hopefully they will keep the name Sarge!
