While so many cities have various Christmas displays and light shows, February and Valentine’s Day belongs to the city of Loveland, Colorado – located about 45 miles north of Denver.
Loveland Lights is back at Chapungu Sculture Park, where you can walk through thousands of pink and red lights, explore the tunnel of love and more. You can also stay for a 30 minute light show set to romantic love songs.
Loveland Lights happens nightly through February 18 with shows from 5 to 9 PM.
Also happening in Loveland is the annual Sweetheart Festival on Valentine’s Day which boasts a large group wedding, as well as, Colorado’s largest “love lock” sculpture.
Additionally, the town known as “Sweetheart City,” has their streetlights decorated with large customized wooden hearts. It’s also the place where people from all over the world order and send their Valentine’s Day cards to get the collectible hand-stamped postmark.
