When it comes to Christmas lights in Colorado, there are few more beautiful or more iconic that the ones that light up Denver’s City and County building each year. Those will be turned on for another season at an event this Wednesday night (November 22nd).

The Light the Lights event will happen Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Bannock Street at the City and County Building.

Leaders from the Denver Sheriff Department, Denver Fire Department, and Denver Police Department will activate the light and music display at approximately 5:15 p.m.

Wednesday’s ceremony will feature two police vehicles, a Tesla, a lowrider, firetruck, and sheriff K9 unit and Camaro vehicles.

The Denver City and County Building’s eight-minute, choreographed lights and music show will play every Tuesday through Sunday at 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., with a static light display between the two shows and until 10:45 p.m.
