Dierks Bentley Just Put Out a Perfect Song About Colorado Transplants, ‘Sun Sets in Colorado’
By Shawn Patrick on February 24, 2023
As a Colorado native I have to be honest and admit that at times I too have cussed people who’ve relocated to our state. However, I also get it. Why wouldn’t you want to live in a place that has 300 days of sunshine, four real seasons, and the mountains of course.
Dierks Bentley is one of many people who aren’t from Colorado, but fell in love with our state, and wanted to be here. The Arizona native moved to Nashville for his career, but relocated to Colorado during the pandemic before moving back to Music City, but spending as much time as possible in Colorado too.
Today Dierks put out a new album, Gravel & Gold, and the second song on the record is called “Sun Sets in Colorado.” The song is a perfect ode to why people who may not be from Colorado want to be here.
I may be biased, but this one is great. Be listening to hear it on 98.5 KYGO, or give it a listen now…
