DIA Was One of the Worst Airports for Flight Delays This Summer

Anyone who traveled through Denver International Airport this summer knows it was hard to escape all the delays and cancelations that were happening with the airlines. But, as you can imagine, those travel problems were worse at some airports rather than others. So, just how bad was it at DIA?
FlightAware has revealed the U.S. airports that had the most flight cancelations and delays this summer (May 27 through September 5). All of the airports with the most delays saw a quarter or more of their flights delayed, and sadly that includes DIA.
Airports With The Worst Delays This Summer
- Chicago Midway International Airport (37.7%)
- Baltimore/Washington International Airport (32.5%)
- Orlando International Airport (32.2%)
- John F. Kennedy International Airport (31%)
- Harry Reid International Airport (Las Vegas) (31%)
- Newark Liberty International Airport (30.4%)
- Dallas Love Field Airport (29.1%)
- Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (28.3%)
- Denver International Airport (27.5%)
- Charlotte Douglas International Airport (27.2%)
On a positive note, you may have had to wait a little longer for your flight in Denver, but at least they usually happened and didn’t get canceled!
