Denver, CO- Temperatures this weekend are expected to drop to the single digits – for highs. Already Denver International Airport is dealing with cold weather and weather delays ahead of the upcoming storm. As of 11:27am this morning, Flightaware has listed 256 delays out of DIA and 146 flight cancelations.

The upcoming cold plunge is also effecting flights tomorrow and Sunday.  Already for Saturday, there are 720 delays out of DIA and 832 cancelations!  Sunday, 37 delays and 161 flight cancelations at the time this article was written.

Why all the delays?  Simple answer is weather.  An Arctic cold front is moving into the state today and there are wind chill warnings that are in effect until Tuesday morning.

Be safe and check on your flight before heading to DIA.
