There’s some new research that looked into the best cities in America for coffee . . . which is a BIG step up from two years ago, when we were emptying our cupboards looking for that can of Maxwell House from 2006.

They compared 100 of the largest U.S. cities across 12 metrics, including the number of coffee shops and roasters . . . the amount of coffee drinkers . . . the average prices in the area . . . and local coffee-related events.

In the end, San Francisco came in first, followed by Seattle . . . Orlando . . . Honolulu . . . Portland, Oregon . . . Tampa . . . Pittsburgh . . . Miami . . . Sacramento, California . . . and Denver was #10.

Other Colorado cities on the list were Colorado Springs at #44 and Aurora at #67.

Of the 100 cities they looked at, Detroit is last.  The rest of the bottom five is:  Toledo, Ohio . . . Laredo, Texas . . . Corpus Christi, Texas . . . and Memphis.
