One of my fondest concert memories was when Jon Pardi opened for Dierks Bentley at Fiddler’s Green. As part of his stage set up, Pardi had a tiny Stonehenge hanging from the light rigging. It was that night I realized Pardi was a huge music nerd, like myself, and a fan of “This is Spinal Tap”, the iconic 80’s mockumentary about a rock band. And, the long-awaited sequel is officially in production. According to a press release, filming has begun in New Orleans. Also, two of the featured musical guests who will appear in movie: Garth Brooks and Miss Trisha Yearwood!

If you were to ask Miss Dolly, “Hey good lookin’, what ya got cookin’?” She would probably say, “Well, just a little bit of everything for everyone.” Miss Dolly and her sister, Rachel Parton George, are sharing some of their favorite recipes in their new cook book, “Good Lookin’ Cookin’: A Year of Meals – A Lifetime of Family, Friends and Food”. There are 80 recipes, including 12 that are multi-course meals for big holidays. “Good Lookin’ Cookin'” will be out September 17, but you can pre-order now on Amazon.
