You’d think with us being a state known for winter things would be different, but I guess we’re a bunch of Grinch’s in Colorado!!

We ranked 47th in the country for having the most Christmas spirit, making it one of the least-spirited states, according to a survey from GetCenturyLink.

Last year we were at #29… What happened?

The only states less spirited than Colorado this year are New Mexico, Hawaii and Florida, and the District of Columbia.

The study analyzed Christmas tree farms per capita, charitable giving, streams of Christmas music, tweets about Christmas and online searches for Christmas movies, gingerbread houses, wrapping paper, cards, ornaments and elf on a shelf.
