Chris Young Arrested in Nashville

Nashville, TN – Country music star, Chris Young, was arrested by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on Monday night.
According to the arrest affidavit, agents from the Alcoholic Beverage Commission were conducting compliance checks at establishments in midtown Nashville. One of those establishments was the Tin Roof, where, agents encountered Young sitting at the bar. After checking Young’s identification, the country singer allegedly followed the agents, asking them questions and began filming them with his phone.
The agents made their way to the next establishment to continue compliance checks. At this point, Young and his entourage confronted the agents again. Young tried to stop the agents from leaving the establishment by sticking his hand out and, according to one of the officers, “striking” an agent on the shoulder.
The Gettin’ You Home singer refused to comply with police officers and was handcuffed. Young was booked by MNPD on charges of disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest. As of this publication, Young has been release from custody.
