After 17 seasons playing in the NHL, Carrie Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, announced his retirement.
In an exclusive interview with The Tennessean, Fisher stated his desire to hang up his skates for good.
“The career of arguably the most recognizable player in Predators history ended Thursday when Captain Mike Fisher announced his retirement,” the paper started their article with. At the end of the season, Fisher stated his priorities in life were, “faith, family, then hockey.”
Fisher ended his career playing 1,088 games for two teams, the Ottawa Senators and the Preds.
Looks like we will be seeing a lot Mike on the road with Carrie in the future!
