Blake Shelton is Leaving ‘The Voice’
By Shawn Patrick on October 11, 2022
Something’s just go together… Peanut butter and jelly, socks and shoes, Blake Shelton and The Voice. However, the latter is about to be a thing of the past!
After 22 seasons with the show, the winningest coach in the competition’s history is stepping away from his red chair.
Shelton was one of the four original coaches on The Voice when it premiered on NBC in 2011, along with Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green and Adam Levine.
While Shelton isn’t leaving until after season 23, the coaching lineup still gets a big shakeup next season. Stefani, Camila Cabello and John Legend won’t return to their red chair. Instead, former coach Kelly Clarkson returns, joined by new coaches Niall Horan of One Direction fame and Grammy-winning artist, songwriter and producer Chance the Rapper.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
