Beyond the Badge – Sergeant Joe Cummings

This week, we salute Sergeant Joe Cummings of the Parker Police Department.  Sgt. Cummings has been honored with six life savings awards, 36 letters of appreciation, eight commendations, two Meritorious Service Awards, two Distinguished Service Awards and the Town of Parker Star of Excellence.  In December of 2016, he and his horse Alaska were one of two officers to launch the new Mounted Patrol Unit.  He served ten years on the SWAT team, is the lead firearms instructor, and is recognized as an expert on firearms in the court of law.  A truly distinguished career, of more than thirty years.  We’re proud to recognize Sgt. Joe Cummings, Parker PD, for going Beyond the Badge.
