Beyond the Badge – Officers Juan Gamboa and Edward Pacheco Jr.

This week, we salute Officers Juan Gamboa and Edward Pacheco Jr. of the Denver PD.  It was a cold and freezing morning this past December morning when they saw two kids walking to school…without coats.  The officers talked to them and found out neither of these young gentlemen had a proper winter coat.  Knowing that it was only going to get colder, the officers bought each a new coat and delivered it the next day.  This act of kindness truly typifies the spirit of our “Beyond the Badge” program, as we spread the word about law enforcement officers who make a difference in our communities every day – protecting, serving, and CARING.  And going…Beyond the Badge.
