The buzz around the NFL world is that the Broncos are not going to just stay put with the 15th overall pick. Denver has the ammunition to move around the first few rounds of the draft with their second and three third-round picks. The chances of Denver using all five of those picks is slim to none.
Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported a week ago that the Broncos are one of three teams that “appear to be looking at their options in terms of trading up in round one.”
Woody Paige of the Colorado Springs Gazette is reporting that sources told him the Broncos don’t plan to stay at No. 15, but instead will try to trade up for Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. Paige also mentioned that Denver could move up with the Cardinals or Browns at picks eight and 10.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the Browns are considering to trade down from 10 for Boise State offensive tackle Ezra Cleveland.
Peter Schrager of NFL Network mentioned on Daniel Jeremiah’s “Move the Sticks” podcast that a team told him that Jerry Jeudy is the top wide receiver on the Broncos draft board.
Matt Miller of Bleacher Report is saying that there’s “a ton of smoke” that the Broncos want to move into the top 10 and suggests the Broncos are targeting Jeudy.
Mike Klis of 9News mentioned that a potential target for the Broncos if they move up is Jeudy.
