Do you remember on “The Late Show with David Letterman” called “Stupid Pet Tricks?” Well, TBS is about to turn it into its very own TV show and they’re looking for Colorado pets to be on it.
Comedian Sarah Silverman will host the re-imagining of the iconic show segment that starts on Feb 11 (3 p.m. MST) on TBS.
To create a little buzz for the new show and find pets to be featured, TBS is traveling to five U.S. cities on the Stupid Pet Tricks Tour beginning Feb. 3. The tour will feature stops in Tampa, Dallas, Austin, Brevard, N.C. and stops in Colorado at Oskar Blue’s Brewery in Longmont on Feb. 13 from 4-8 p.m.
The Longmont event will be free and open to the public and will feature photo opportunities, giveaways, pet adoptions, music, and food trucks as well as a “red carpet” and pet performance stage. Full details on the event can be found on the Oskar Blues website.
Entries to appear on “Stupid Pet Tricks” are already being looked at by TBS. Social media users can post a video of their pet’s talent, trick or funny behavior on Instagram or TikTok using the hashtag #MyStupidPetTrick and tagging TBS @TBSnetwork. TBS will pick one trick a week to feature on-air during an episode of Stupid Pet Tricks.
Interested participants can find more information on the Stupid Pet Tricks website.
